Must visit: interesting places in Saint Petersburg near City Tour’s stops

Pyshechnaya

It is a famous old café with Russian donuts, which is only 5 minutes walking from the 5th stop of City Tour bus.  It was opened in 1958 and is still very popular not only among tourists, but also among native citizens.

 

 

Singer House

It is also widely known as the House of Books. The building is located between the 4th and the 5th stops of «City Tour» bus route, directly opposite the Kazan Cathedral in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is recognized as a historical landmark and has official status as an object of Russian cultural heritage. There is a great variety of books and souvenirs.

 

Eliseevy Merchants’ Shop

In the center of St.Petersburg, near the first stop of our bus excursion, locates a famous oldest Russian gastronom – Eliseevy Merchants’ Shop. Here you can find meat delicacies, modern French patisserie, bakery, cheese, charcuterie, smoked salmon, caviar wines & spirits and tea & coffee. The largest display is dedicated to confectionery and home-made patisserie including classic macaroons.

 

Golitsyn Hall

It is a palace on the embankment of Fontanka river, near the water route of our excursion. Golitsyn Hall is an art-space, where there are more than 70 sections : designer show-rooms,  tattoo-studious, beauty-salons, hotel, art exhibitions and a lot of other interesting places. However, most people come there to spend the time in cafes, bars and restaurants.

 

 

New Holland Island

The route of our boat tour City Cruise lays not far from a new popular place – New Holland. It is a city-park with well-developed infrastructure, where everyone could find what to do. Every week there is a plenty of events of various formats: concerts, lectures, performances and exhibitions.
